Recognised as a 5-Star Innovative School
The Educator’s 5-Star Innovative Schools award recognises schools leading the way in educational innovation — and the program that prompted ours starts at the front door.
John Paul College has been honoured as one of The Educator’s 5-Star Innovative Schools — an award that recognises schools leading the way in educational innovation and excellence.
We are proud that the recognition points at John Paul International College, which delivers our Primary and High School Preparation courses for students from a wide range of linguistic and cultural backgrounds, and supports parents, agents and government partners across the College.
The Premium Homestay Program
As part of our commitment to international families, John Paul College became the first school in Australia to offer a Premium Homestay Program. It bundles together what used to be billed and arranged separately: the Extended Day Program, which provides academic support, cultural activities and social opportunities after school hours, plus airport pick-up and drop-off, all covered by the homestay fee.
For a parent sending a child overseas, that matters. It means a smoother arrival, fewer unknowns, and less to organise from the other side of the world.
Innovation that isn’t a gimmick
Student wellbeing is a key factor in student success. Our approach to innovation is not about flashy features — it is about making considered adjustments to our model that fit what our students actually need.
“We are constantly looking for ways to enhance our students’ learning experience and prepare them for their future endeavours. We are honoured to receive this recognition, and we look forward to continuing our innovation journey.”
David Ferguson — Director, John Paul International College
