In Korea, I mainly focused on my academics but in Australia they not only focus on academics but offer many other co-curricular opportunities for students to join, like music band and sports, among the programs that they have. 1. You must be brave to make conversations with other people. They are very nice, so you should try to talk to them to learn skills and the social language.
  2. Second, when you come to JPC there are some great teachers here. Ask them questions and email them to help you and try to get everything out of the experience.
  3. The last thing is joining a lot of bands, the sports program and after school program. That really does help and that will give you something to work on other than academics.
