JPIC Extended Day Program: A Great Start for International Students
The
JPIC Extended Day Program (EDP) has successfully launched its first week, welcoming international students to a range of activities and services that enhance their learning and well-being at John Paul College.
The EDP is a unique initiative that offers international students extra support beyond the regular school hours, every Tuesday and Thursday, from 3:20 pm to 6:15 pm. The program aims to help the students improve their academic, social, and personal skills, as well as their sense of community and belonging.

In the first week, the students received a briefing about the program and got to know each other and the staff. They also participated in supervised study sessions, co-curricular activities, and community dinner. The students expressed their excitement and gratitude for the program, saying that it helped them with their homework, assignments, and revision, as well as their hobbies, passions, and friendships. |

The JPIC-EDP also provides door-to-door bus transportation for homestay students, ensuring their safety and convenience. The bus services are being updated to optimize the routes and timings, based on the data collected from every trip. The EDP team is working hard to ensure that the students get home as soon as possible, without compromising their quality of experience.
The JPIC-EDP is managed by a dedicated team of bilingual staff from John Paul International College, who are trained and experienced in working with international students. They are always available to assist the students with any issues or concerns, and to ensure their well-being and happiness.
The EDP is a comprehensive and innovative support system that goes beyond the typical homestay program. It is designed to provide international students with a holistic and enjoyable student journey at John Paul College, one of the leading schools in Australia.
