Level Four Classroom Insight

| The Level Four class have had a very productive start to the term. Students are currently studying the topic Food and Health. They have been practising their persuasive writing skills. The students have also been reading a range of texts about health issues and have been working on annotating texts as they actively read. Next, we will be working on Crime and Punishment. Students will learn a range of vocabulary related to this topic and start to practise their discussion skills. Later this term, the students will conduct research and write an information report on a health issue of their choice. |
Maths
Level 4A have done a deep dive into 2D and 3D shapes this term. They have investigated the names and properties of a variety of polygons and more, as well as area and perimeter. Our most recent topic has been trigonometry, where students have been using Pythagoras’ Theorem as well as trigonometric ratios. All students are working hard and striving towards success on their final assessment items in Week Eight.
