From 1 December 2021, fully vaccinated international students with a valid visa no longer need an exemption to travel to Australia. More information on travel exemptions can be found at the
Department of Home Affairs website.
Following this announcement, the International Student Services team held a special presentation to provide our current international students with further information should they choose to travel overseas during the summer break and also assist them to update their vaccination documents, including a Domestic Vaccination Certificate and linking to the Queensland check in apps. Buses were arranged to take our international students to the Medicare office to obtain their International Vaccination Certificate.
