Celebrating Excellence: Semester 1, 2025 Academic Awards

The Semester 1 Academic Awards Ceremony at John Paul College was once again a proud moment for our community — a tradition each August that recognises the outstanding achievements of our students and celebrates their dedication, resilience, and personal growth.

These prestigious awards honour students who consistently demonstrate positive attitudes, exceptional social and self-management skills, and strong engagement in their studies, achieving impressive results across all subject areas.

This year, our international students shone brightly, with over one-third of the cohort earning an Academic Award. Many of these achievers began their journey in JPIC’s High School Preparation or Primary School Preparation programs — a testament to how these pathways equip students with the skills, confidence, and discipline to excel academically.

Living away from home is no small challenge, and these results also reflect the strong network of support surrounding our students. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our homestay parents, whose care and guidance provide students with a safe, welcoming home environment in Australia.

We also recognise the role of our Extended Day Program, which offers structured study time, academic support, and enrichment activities to help students develop strong study habits and balance academic excellence with personal growth.
