The Foundation for Success: High School Preparation Course

What makes these achievements particularly remarkable is the journey many international students have taken. The majority of our 2025 international graduates began their studies through the High School Preparation Course at John Paul International College.

This intensive program builds academic English proficiency, subject readiness and confidence for success in the Australian curriculum. Students who entered with limited English proficiency have gone on to achieve ATARs above 99 and secure places in highly competitive university programs, including Medicine, Engineering and Law.

These outcomes exemplify how John Paul College helps students Ignite Ambition and transform potential into achievement.

Medical Pathway Success

We are particularly proud that two international graduates have been accepted into the highly competitive Bachelor of Medical Science at Griffith University — a recognised pathway to future medical careers.

Comprehensive Support for International Students

These results are underpinned by the strength of our International Student Services and the JPC CARE program. Students benefit from:

  • Carefully matched and supported homestay accommodation
  • Ongoing pastoral care and wellbeing support
  • Personalised academic mentoring and university pathway guidance
  • Strong communication between the College, families and education partners

This holistic approach ensures students feel supported academically, socially and culturally throughout their journey at John Paul College.

Diverse Pathways Beyond ATAR

In addition to strong university outcomes:

  • Graduates received offers across Health, Society and Culture, Engineering, and Natural and Physical Sciences
  • 77 students successfully completed VET qualifications
  • 18 students graduated with a Diploma of Business

These results reflect John Paul College's commitment to providing multiple pathways to success, aligned to each student's strengths and aspirations.

A Proven Pathway to Global Futures
