Your First Days

Starting a new school in a new country is a big step — and we will be with your family every step of the way. Here is everything you need for a calm, confident start to Term 3, 2026: your uniform fitting, Orientation Day, what to pack, and your very first day of school.

Uniform Fitting Sessions

The JPC Retail Centre is offering 30-minute uniform fitting sessions for new students on Wednesday 9 July and Thursday 10 July.

A booking is required for every student. We are unable to accept walk-ins during this time, so please reserve a timeslot in advance using the booking link.

JPIC Orientation Day

Term 3 orientation for new students is held at the Crockett Building on Friday 10 July, from 8:00am until 11:00am. All new students are required to attend.

What to wear

School uniform is not required on Orientation Day. We do suggest students wear smart casual clothing — and please choose a top with no writing on the front.

Parents — you are invited too

We warmly invite each student's parents to a Parent Information Session on the same day, starting at 8:00am for 45 minutes. It is a chance for us to explain more about the program and to answer your questions.

In-language support will be provided on the day if needed — please let us know your preferred language in advance.

Tuesday 14 July · Term 3 begins

Your First Day of School

Term 3 begins on Tuesday 14 July. Students wear full formal uniform with plain black leather lace-up shoes, and bring their stationery, morning tea, lunch and a bottle of water.
