Speech Night 2025: a whole community celebrates
An evening that brings the entire College together to recognise achievement across academics, performing arts, sport and leadership.
Speech Night is one of the most important celebrations in the John Paul College calendar — an evening that brings our whole community together to recognise what our students have achieved across academics, performing arts, sport and leadership.
Excellence with character
As one of Australia’s top 100 private schools, John Paul College combines academic strength with a genuine focus on character and personal growth. That combination shows in our results: our most recent graduating cohort achieved a median ATAR of 91.00, placing the middle of the year group inside the top 10% of the state.
But Speech Night is a reminder that success here reaches well beyond a score. This is an evening for courage, persistence and the range of talents that make the community what it is — from performing arts to sporting achievement, from academic honours to leadership and service.
Our international community
We are grateful for the contribution our international students make, and for the perspectives they bring. Their achievements reflect both their own hard work and the support around them — homestay families, the International Student Services team, and classmates who make a new arrival feel that they belong.
For families considering John Paul College from overseas, Speech Night offers a clear view of what the College values: excellent teaching, broad opportunity, and students who leave here confident and ready to contribute.
