The Semester 1 Academic Awards ceremony is a tradition each August, and once again it was a proud moment for our community — recognising not only results, but the dedication and resilience behind them.

These awards honour students who consistently show a positive attitude, strong social and self-management skills, and real engagement in their studies, achieving results across all subject areas. They are deliberately not reserved for the very top of the year group.

Our international students

This year our international students shone, with more than one-third of the cohort earning an Academic Award. Many began their time with us in the High School Preparation or Primary School Preparation programs — evidence of how well those pathways build the skills, confidence and study discipline that senior subjects demand.

The people behind the results

Living away from home is no small challenge, and these results reflect the network of support around each student. We thank our homestay parents, whose care gives students a safe and welcoming home in Australia.

We also recognise the part played by the Extended Day Program, which provides structured study time, academic support and enrichment activities, helping students build strong habits and balance academic work with the rest of their lives.

Congratulations to every Semester 1 award recipient. Your work, ambition and courage in studying far from home inspire the whole College.
