The proudest achievement for me was winning the gold medal in the 2015 Australian National Titration Competition and our titration team came first in the UQ Venue and fifth place in Queensland. We were very proud, as all the hard work had paid off.

I have lived with my homestay for three years. Words cannot describe how important they were to me in these three years. They had always been supportive, whenever I needed help. They cared about my personal life and loved me liked their own children. Without them, I would not have achieved what I have today. Since I am leaving to live and study in Sydney next year, my last Technology Studies project was specifically designed for my homestay father, who used to be a hairdresser. I had made a hairdressing equipment box for him as a gift. For sure, he was every happy.

The experience of being part of the JPC basketball team was definitely one of my highlights in high school. As a team, we won the Premiership in 2014 and developed a strong connection between each player. A basketball united us and we were proud as a team.

The biggest challenge for me was learning how to evaluate things critically and objectively. Thinking critically was very challenging for me, since I never doubted any information in the textbook. In physics class, Mr Marr taught us how to confirm ideas from the book by doing experiments and the critical thinking from our teacher was challenging and inspiring.

In the future, I want to study architecture and become an architect. I always wanted to study design in Architecture, because it involves creative thinking with structured technical thought, which I certainly love to do.
