From the first hand raised in Year 7 to a university offer in Year 12, JPC guides every step. Our Class of 2025 finished with a median ATAR of 91.00 — Queensland’s top 10%.
The ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank) is the score Australian universities use to offer places. It runs from 0 to 99.95. See our full 2025 results and every year since 2020

Every stage of secondary school at JPC embeds a Positive Psychology framework, giving students real, everyday ways to live out our College Values — Mutual Respect, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence. We’ve grown this into something uniquely ours — the JPC SOARING Tree — building character strengths through SOARING.

Setting and working towards meaningful academic and personal goals.

Getting involved and staying engaged in classroom and co-curricular life.

Forming genuine, supportive connections with peers, staff and the wider community.

Following curiosity into new subjects, clubs and passions worth pursuing.

Building self-awareness and the self-regulation to manage challenges well.

Contributing to and leading others within the JPC community.
SOARING runs through every year of secondary school — in class, in mentoring, and in co-curricular life. Students learn the habits that carry them through Year 12 and beyond.
Career counselling ignites students’ future ambitions, helping them choose the right education pathway for them.
From Year 7 through to Year 12, dedicated career education helps every JPC student connect their interests to a university course, VET pathway or career — well before they need to decide.
