A Message From Our Head of Boarding
We strive to make boarding life a positive experience for all boarders, providing a safe and secure environment where our boarders are encouraged to achieve their potential. Our boarding students should enjoy the friendships, the security and the care of their second home.

More Than
Accommodation

Fenton Village is not a dormitory. It is a small, village-style community of fifteen buildings where students develop independence, lifelong friendships and the confidence to thrive beyond school.

Boarders in a shared common room

Community

Intentionally small numbers and low staff-to-student ratios mean every one of our 56 boarders is known and supported.

Boarders doing their own laundry

Independence

From laundry to daily routines, boarders build real-world life skills in a supportive, supervised environment.

Leadership

Our Keep in Touch (KIT) Mentoring Program and Boarder Leadership Committee give every student a chance to lead and serve.

Why International Families Choose Boarding

Live on Campus

Only steps from classrooms, sport, music and every facility on our 33-hectare Daisy Hill campus.

Individualised Care

Low staff-to-student ratios mean exceptional, personalised care from residential, academic, medical and catering staff.

Structured Support

Our Head of Boarding and Academic Enrichment Program track every boarder's academic and pastoral wellbeing.

Develop Independence

Boarders learn responsibility, time management and life skills that last well beyond Year 12.

A Global Boarding Community

Fenton Village brings together boarders from rural and regional Australia and from countries around the world – from the Northern Territory to Hong Kong – in one close-knit community.

Pastoral & Leadership
Development

Fenton Village is a large family unit, and our boarding leadership framework relies on three key boarding principles to foster belonging through service and leadership.

Kindness

The quality of being friendly, generous and considerate.

Service

The action of helping or doing work for someone or a community.

Forgiveness

The action or process of forgiving or being forgiven.

Guided by the Keep in Touch (KIT) Mentoring Program – pairing senior boarders with younger students – and the Boarder Leadership & Committee Structure, every boarder is supported to lead themselves, and then lead others.

Program Three

The Lifestyle Program

The largest of our three boarding programs, shaping the day-to-day rhythm of life in Fenton Village.

Routines

A consistent weekday and weekend rhythm gives every boarder a solid foundation.

Lifestyle Calendar

A term calendar of events, activities and outings published for boarders and families.

Weekend Planner

Weekend routines (Friday 3:20pm – Sunday 5:30pm) shaped by College events, sport, weather and boarder input.

Boarders' Meeting

Every Sunday at 8:30pm, boarders come together to connect and set the tone for the week ahead.

Room Allocation

Boarders move villas each term under a vertical boarding model, building friendships across Years 7–12.
