The International Primary Preparation Course (CRICOS: 049712G) is a face-to-face course designed to prepare students for Year 3 to Year 6 of Primary School in Australia. Our course is designed to provide international students with the language and academic skills they need to succeed in an English-speaking primary school environment. Students are taught totally in English for all subjects, including reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Our experienced teachers use engaging materials and interactive activities to make learning fun and effective. Classes are held for five and a half hours per day from Monday to Friday, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in their studies. With our primary preparation course, students can feel confident and well-prepared as you embark on your primary school journey in Australia. Our curriculum is designed to develop students' communicative competence and academic language skills through a blended learning approach that integrates technology and real-world tasks. Students study topics and themes that are relevant to their lives and learning, so that they are fully prepared to enter Australian Primary School upon completion of the program.

Mathematics & Science

The Mathematics and Science curricula prepare students with vocabulary and conceptual knowledge for success in mainstream. Students are encouraged to use their developing English skills to negotiate problems and gain linguistic independence

JPIC Primary School Preparation Course is open for enrollment to primary students between the ages of 9 to 12 years throughout the year.

Direct Entry to John Paul College Primary School

An enrolment is determined through a combination of English results, school reports and the interview.

Students who do not meet direct entry requirements for the John Paul College can study English with John Paul International College. In addition to the English language requirements below, the two most recent report cards and an interview with a Head of School are required. Applicants must also ​demonstrate they have passed all core subjects in their previous two years of schooling.

Tuition Fees

*All fees are quoted in Australian Dollars, are current at the time of printing and may be subject to changes. If the tuition fees are increased you will be required to pay the new fees as they are updated.

Tuition fees for the school year are charged in two (2) installment in January and July and are payable within 14 days of billing.

GST: Most of the College's fees and charges are not subject to the Goods and Services Tax [GST]. Any GST included in charges is specifically identified on the account when rendered.

Students will not be permitted to commence or continue their course at the beginning of any term until all outstanding fees, charges or accounts are paid. No certificates/reports will be issued where a student has an outstanding debt owing to the College
