Living and Studying
in Queensland
Climate and seasons
John Paul College is conveniently located at Daisy Hill on the border of
Logan City and Brisbane, offering a wide variety of entertainment, shopping,
restaurants and sightseeing. Our sub-tropical climate, with its mild winters and
warm summers, plus our safe, welcoming and relaxed lifestyle, provide the
perfect setting to combine study and leisure.
Brisbane and Logan’s comprehensive transport network gives you the freedom
to move – busways, trains, high speed ferries and an excellent motorway
system takes you from the challenges of the classroom to the peace of our
pristine environment.
It is estimated that you may need between $A14,000 - $A18,000 per year for
living costs. This would cover accommodation, transport, food, entertainment,
clothing and textbooks. It would not cover airfares, tuition or additional costs
associated with an expensive lifestyle.
