International Primary Preparation Course

The International Primary Preparation (CRICOS: 049712G) course prepares students from age 9 – 12 for entry into the Australian school system. Classes are held for five hours per day from Monday to Friday. Students are taught totally in English – not only language skills but also Mathematics, Science, Technology and Social Education. Our graduates are fully prepared to enter mainstream academic classes with Australian students from Year 4 to 6.

Our highly qualified teachers are experienced in handling students of all cultures.

Course Structure and Articulation

The preparation program will help students make the transition to John Paul College.Confidence will be enhanced as success is achieved in developing the essential learning skills that prepare students to become independent thinkers and full participants in mainstream classes.

Orientation to the local community and to life in Australia is an integral part of the program.

This course has been popular with parents who have the opportunity to accompany their child for the duration of their studies in Australia on the Guardian Visa program.
