St Mark’s Food Drive

JPC is starting its annual Food Drive for St Mark’s so they can put together Christmas Hampers for those in need in our local area. Donations can be brought in at any time now. You can bring in a whole lot at once, or just one or two items per week until the end of the year. It is up to you. The main items needed are:

  •  Christmas cakes (or fruit cakes)
  • Christmas puddings
  • Ham
  • 1 litre cartons of custard
  • 1 litre cartons milk
  • Packet of 6 mince pies
  • Large tins of fruit
  • Soft drink or fruit juice
  • Christmas lollies or nuts
  • Cans baked beans/spaghetti
  • Cans soup Cans vegetables
  • Cans of meat of fish

Generally they appreciate anything tinned or in packets that are Non-Perishable. JPIC, Middle School and Primary students can take their donations directly to the Noelene Munns Learning Centre and place near the Christmas tree, or if appropriate, build up the donations in your class space first (check with your teachers about this).

Senior School students can look for the Christmas tree outside Ms Guerra’s office on the ground floor of Gorman, and place their goods there.

Thank you all for helping out. You will put a smile on someone’s face this Christmas because of your generosity.
